Prof. Mette Skak
Mette Skak, b. 1956, is an Associate Professor of political science at the Department of Political Science, University of Aarhus, Denmark.
She has published widely on Russian foreign and security policy and on Soviet affairs, for instance the monograph From Empire to Anarchy; Post-Communist Foreign Policy and International Relations (London: Hurst and Co.) 1996; ‘Russian Security Policy After 9/11’, 53-72 in Kanet, R. (ed.) The New Security Environment. The Impact on Russia, Central and Eastern Europe (London: Ashgate) 2005.
Her current research includes the projects ‘BRIC, that is Brazil, Russia, India, China as globalization contexts for Denmark’ (sub-project on Russia) and ‘Revolution by Stealth: The Fake Dissolution of the Comintern in 1943 and the Early Cold War’.
