Vladimir KAVTORIN

 Writer, publicist, critic. Born in 1941.

Graduate of the Literary Institute named after Maxim Gorky, Moscow.

Since 1980 - the member of the Union of Writers of the USSR.

Since 1991 - one of the founders and the member of the Union of Writers of St. Petersburg.

V.Kavtorin has published his literary works in magazines: "Zvezda”, "Neva", "Novi Mir", "Nash Sovremennik", in newspapers: "Literary review", "Literary newspaper" etc. The author of eight books of belees-lettres, historical research "The First Step to Catastrophe" (1990) and of the book of fiction and documentary biographies "The Petersburg Intellectuals" (2002).
