МЕГАРЕГИОН - СЕТЕВАЯ КОНФЕДЕРАЦИЯ

Сетевая конфедерация «Мегарегион» является независимым интеллектуальным клубом экспертов, изучающих экономические, политические и культурные процессы, протекающие в регионе Балтийского моря, в том числе на Северо-Западе России, являющемся частью этого региона. Сетевая конфедерация «Мегарегион» полностью независима, не нуждается в патронате какой-либо иной, в том числе и государственной, структуры и не признает над собою такого патроната. Все участники дискуссий «Мегарегиона» представляют в них только себя лично. «Мегарегион» не создает никаких структур, кроме чисто технических. Все участники его дискуссий абсолютно равны и свободны в своих высказываниях. Дискуссии «Мегарегиона» не преследуют цели выработки единой позиции по обсуждаемым вопросам, и потому проект может объединять людей различных политических убеждений. «Мегарегион» не преследует цели выработки рекомендаций для каких-либо политических или общественных организаций. Не противопоставляя себя институтам государства, члены «Мегарегиона» исходят из того, что государство перестало быть единственным актором международной жизни, которую во все большей степени формируют непосредственные и преимущественно региональные связи бизнеса, общественных организаций, интеллектуальных сообществ и личностей. В развитии этих связей, в их крепнущей независимости от государственных структур члены «Мегарегиона» усматривают один из важнейших факторов глобального развития на современном этапе.

MEGA REGION - NETWORK CONFEDERATION

Network Confederation “Mega Region” is an independent intellectual club of experts studying economic, political and cultural processes in the Baltic Sea Region, including Northwest of Russia, which is a part of this Region. “Mega Region” Network Confederation is completely independent. It does not require patronage of any other structure including state structures and does not recognize any patronage above itself. During the meetings all participants of “Mega Region” discussions only represent themselves personally. “Mega Region” does not establish any structures, except technical ones. All participants of its discussions are absolutely equal and free in the statements. Discussions of “Mega Region” do not pursue the aim of development of a uniform position on questions discussed and consequently the project can unite people of various political views. “Mega Region” does not pursue the aim of development of recommendations for any political or public organizations. Not opposing themselves to institutes of the state, members of “Mega Region” recognize that the state has ceased to be the unique actor of international life which is being shaped now by direct and mainly regional communications of business, public organizations, intellectual communities and persons. It is the development of these links, their getting more independent from the state structures which “Mega Region” members see as one of the major factors of global development at the present stage.
